Barn Yarn started as a small project, but over time the name became easy to mix up with other businesses. I wanted a name that clearly belonged to this work.
Woolly Headed Ideas grows out of the way I work, sketching, testing, dyeing, shaping, and following ideas as they take form. It leaves room for yarn, clay, patterns, and future pieces to sit naturally side by side. The work itself hasn’t changed. It’s still made with care, curiosity, and by the same hands.
Just a name that fits the work more fully.
